It's been a long while since I last updated this website, and I apologize for the radio silence. I had a really nice looking site going and surprisingly it really holds up even in 2023! You might be wondering, where have I been? Well, life happened. I've focused on my family and explored other pursuits that I've always been passionate about. Some were successful, others not so much, but all were valuable experiences.
My Journey in Digital Marketing and Beyond
Although I've been away, my interest in online marketing, SEO, and PPC has never waned. I've continued to apply these skills, including updating my other digital marketing related website robertoseverino.com, where I recently discussed in more detail what I've been doing for the last few years.
I've dabbled in growing an Instagram account, dealt with the highs and lows of LinkedIn, and shifted hosting providers to optimize performance. All this while keeping this site alive, albeit dormant. There were times where I thought about pulling the plug on this site altogether, but something in me told me to keep all my sites up no matter what. They could always serve as case studies or experiments where I could run ads and test things out in Google.
SEO and PPC Updates: What's Coming?
Big changes are coming to Adword Vigilante, mainly focusing on PPC strategies. You'll also see some updates on my other site, which is more geared towards SEO. Both sites are built on different platforms—Adword Vigilante on Oxygen and robertoseverino.com on Divi—but rest assured, I plan to revitalize both to fit the ever-changing landscape of online marketing.
It's true—neglect a site for too long and Google might just think you're out of business. But the good news is, with an aged domain, the turnaround can be quicker than starting from scratch. This is why I always say to people keep all the domains you buy, even the ones you're not gonna use right away. You never know when they might come in handy for a marketing experiement. It's always far harder to start over again from scratch when it comes to online marketing and paid search. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. Use what you already have and run with it, and then turn the screws when you see results!

I realized the error of my ways trying to target huge cities from the get go without having as much authority built up yet. I'm going to correct that mistake in the next few weeks hopefully and apply everything I know from different areas of digital marketing to see what happens.
